When Tabitha Sewer of TJSewer asked me to collaborate with her on a Celebrity Inspired look I was ECSTATIC, to say the least.  We quickly went to work trying to decide exactly what star we would use as our inspiration. It didn't take long for us to both agree that Lupita Nyong'o was the way to go! We decided that we would not tell each other but rather keep it a secret until the reveal date! Now came the decision of exactly which dress I would pick. The original excitement quickly turned to terror once I started going through all of her gorgeous looks !!  Which would I pick?  OK so this pattern!!!  Like most, when I saw it I SQUEALED .....literally SQUEALED !! I mean its gorgeous ... The Deep V-neck and Kimono style sold it for me!  Before I go any further let me introduce the pattern ( as if you didn't know )  Vogue 9253  I chose to Sew Up View B I wanted a more dramatic look so I went with the longer version  I used a beautiful floral charmeuse fabric from Joann 's Fabric.  I ended up ordering mine from their warehouse because there wasn't enough in the store. I'm not sure ill do this again because it took nearly three weeks before my fabric got to me!  Once I got the fabric I didn't regret ordering it one little bit! It was beautiful !! Can we take a moment to appreciate my first COMPLETE pair of Jeans !!!!!! .................. OK thats long enough !!! :)   These lovely ladies are the Ginger Jeans !!!! I purchased this pattern about a month ago and went to work looking for the perfect denim . I ended up finding some white Stretch Denim at Fine Fabric ( my favorite store ) in Norcross Ga. I paid about 5 dollars a yard which is precisely why this is my Favorite Store ... THE PRICES !  After I had my fabric I went right to work putting my pattern together .... Now , if I must be honest I actually made a MUSLIN pair of Birkin Flairs a little over a year ago , but I never made the "real " pair . This time I didn't do a muslin  ,  I just went for it ! I knew honestly that if I made the muslin pair I may or MAY NOT have got to making the real pair. So I bit the bullet .
