Ginger Jeans & Abstract Blouse

Can we take a moment to appreciate my first COMPLETE pair of Jeans !!!!!!

..................

OK thats long enough !!! :)
These lovely ladies are the Ginger Jeans !!!!

I purchased this pattern about a month ago and went to work looking for the perfect denim . I ended up finding some white Stretch Denim at Fine Fabric ( my favorite store ) in Norcross Ga. I paid about 5 dollars a yard which is precisely why this is my Favorite Store ... THE PRICES !

After I had my fabric I went right to work putting my pattern together ....

Now , if I must be honest I actually made a MUSLIN pair of Birkin Flairs a little over a year ago , but I never made the "real " pair . This time I didn't do a muslin  ,  I just went for it ! I knew honestly that if I made the muslin pair I may or MAY NOT have got to making the real pair. So I bit the bullet . Now if you have never made a pair of Jeans before and you are still unsure on your sizes I would HIGHLY recommend you DO A MUSLIN.

ABOUT THE JEANS PATTERN....

Pattern Description:  High Rise and Low Rise Women's Jeans

Pattern Sizing: I cut a 12
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes they were super easy to follow and there is a SEW ALONG  that you can refer to if you need help along the way ( I used it a LOT )
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I loved everything about the pattern . The fit turned out great and I had to make very few adjustments

Fabric Used: Stretch White Denim
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 4 inches to the leg and left it frayed rather than hem it !
Would you sew it again? Yes, definitely!

I absolutely love how they turned out and I will be sewing these up in a denim in the NEAR future !

Now lets talk about this Blouse !!
I purchased the fabric from Hancock Fabrics before they closed over a year ago  ..
Its a Abstract print Challis Fabric .
